Magazine Drive Fundraiser
This Fall fundraiser provides the opportuntiy for students to earn prizes by selling magazines, music, books, and gifts to parents, family, neighbors, and friends. Parents can choose from over 900 products, inlcuding over 700 magazines and over 60 gift products. Some of the featured magazines are Catholic Digest, Family Fun, Seventeen, Nick Jr., Better Homes and Garden, Nickelodeon and many more. Contact Milicent Puglisi at 495-1320 if you would like to help during the 2009/2010 school year.

Blizzard Ball Fundraiser
This Winter fundraiser provides the opportunity for parents to enjoy a night out on February 7, 2009 with dinner and dancing at the downtown Wells Fargo Building. Hotel rooms are available at the Marriott City Center to those that are interested. There will be many wonderful art projects and unique baskets to bid upon during the live and silent auction. SCRIP
The SCRIP program is a year-round fundraising venture in which parents voluntarily participate.  SCRIP is merchant gift certificates/debit cards that are used to purchase goods and services at participating businesses. The school purchases these cards/certificates at a discount and then sells them for face value, keeping the difference as profit.  Contact Bob Mutz or Julie Anne Ahlstrom if you would like to help with sales. SCRIP order forms are available at Form Central or from the school office. You can also go into the office and ask the secretary for available SCRIP.

Smith’s Earn & Learn Download Form & Albertson’s Community Partners Download Form
Smith’s Earn & Learn (have to re-enroll each year)and Albertson’s Community Partners Programs donate 5% and 4% respectively of your total purchase to SJB. To enroll in either of these programs simply grab your grocery card and follow the login instructions below. Once enrolled your cards will be linked so we can start earning money whenever you shop for groceries. You are eligible to receive 1/2 hour towards your service hours just for enrolling! General Mills Box Tops for Education Labels
Collecting Box Tops is a way for our school to make money year-round.  By clipping box tops labels from General Mills and Green Giant products, we can earn up to $20,000 for SJB schools.  Also, by registering our school at the web site, we earn an additional 50 cents.  Various prizes and contest between the students and grades are held throughout the school year.  Turn in your labels to your child’s teacher in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name and room number on the back of the label.  Contact Denise Page for additional information or watch out for information in the Wednesday newsletter.

Target
Through the Take Charge of Education program, Target will donate a percentage of each of your Target® Visa® and Target® Card purchases to our school.   If you already have a Target Visa or Target Card, you can designate your school. Use the schools name and zip code or the school’s Target ID# 113153 to register and designate our school or track the school’s progress. Clip and save Tyson Project A+ redemption labels from participating Tyson products that feature the Project A+ logo. Turn in your labels in a Ziploc bag to your child’s teacher or in the Wednesday envelope. Our school will redeem them for cash. Each label is worth 24 cents. Cream O’Weber Give’em Five program allows parents and students to collect milk jug caps from Cream O’Weber products. Buy Cream O’Weber milk products, save the caps and turn them in to the school. Our school earns 5 cents for each. Turn in your caps in a Ziploc bag to your child’s teacher or in the Wednesday envelope. View what labels to look for. Collect labels from eligible Campbell products and participate in this year-round fundraiser.  The school redeems the labels for FREE merchandise.  Return the labels in a Ziploc bag to your child’s teacher or in the Wednesday envelope. Ronald McDonald House Pull Tabs
This is a year-round effort that allows students to collect the Pull Tabs from Aluminum cans (any type).  This profits the Ronald McDonald House, which gives a place for families to stay with children undergoing serious surgery, illness, or treatments.  Just place the tabs in a plastic Ziploc and send it to school with your child or place in the Wednesday envelope. There is also a collection box in the elementary office.
